Déferlante necklace in white gold, set with 2 pear-shaped D VVS1 diamonds of 3.57 & 1.05 carats, one emerald-cut D VVS2 diamond of 1.56 carats, one emerald-cut E VVS1 diamond of 1.54 carats, one emerald-cut E VVS2 diamond of 1.54 carats, one emerald-cut D VVS1 diamond of 1.51 carats, one square-cut F VVS2 diamond of 0.70 carat, brilliant-cut, princesscut, pear-shaped, square-cut and baguette-cut diamonds. As if swept away by the tide, the diamonds of this hypnotizingly fluid necklace cascade down the décolleté in a dynamic play of light reminiscent of a wave crashing on the shore. Using the Maison’s signature fil-couteau technique, the stones appear as though they are floating, accented with a magnificent 3.57-carat pear-cut diamond that reveals the purity of its water. Evoking dewdrops, its pear-shaped diamonds are a Chaumet signature as well as Joséphine’s favourite cut. With the Déferlante High Jewellery capsule collection, Chaumet writes a spectacular new chapter in honouring nature in movement. A true ode to life, the craftsmen at the 12 Vendôme workshop have succeeded in capturing crashing waves in full motion through fascinatingly realistic light effects. Blending both tradition and modernity, this capsule – made entirely of white gold and diamonds – offers combinations of cuts, virtuoso settings and daring angles, to merge the elegance of Chaumet’s creations with their bold character.; Material 18-carat white gold Paving 449 brilliant-cut EF VVS diamonds for 17.12 carats 17 baguette-cut EF VVS diamonds for 4.84 carats 11 square-cut EF VVS diamonds for 3.22 carats 6 princess-cut EF VVS diamonds for 3.14 carats 2 princess-cut G VS+ diamonds for 1.03 carats 1 pear-shaped G VS+ diamond of 0.58 carat Center Stone 2 pear-shaped F VVS1 diamonds of 3.57 and 1.05 carats 4 emerald-cut F VVS1 diamonds of approximately 1.50 carats each 1 square-cut F VVS1 diamond of 0.71 carat Stone Quality Color D-E-F, clarity from IF to VS, cut "excellent" or "very good", fluorescence "none" or "faint" Stone Origin Conform to the Kimberley process More details Width: 41 cm Lenght: 27 cm; White gold, diamonds
